Swift's Campground is surrounded by the breathtaking Daniel Boone National Forest and the Red River Gorge in Menifee/Wolfe County, Kentucky. The location is exceptional for primitive camping next to the Red River, yet family friendly. Red River is perfect for swimming, tubing, fishing, kayaking and/or canoeing!

Swift's Campground provides equipment needed for great outdoor fun for the family. Launching the canoe right by the campsite; hiking or bicycling to view the majestic rock cliffs, the calming waterfalls, the delicate wild flowers, the wildlife, and/or simply taking in and enjoying the simplicity and the exquisiteness of nature.

Just minutes away are several activities including visiting the enlightening and educational Gladie Environmental Center and Historic Site, Natural Bridge and Nada Tunnel.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS:

Traveling I- 75 TO Interstate 64 east, take exit 98 to the Bert T. Combs Mountain Parkway. From the parkway, take exit 33 (Slade) and turn left onto KY 11. , turn left onto KY 15, travel 1.5 miles west and turn right onto KY 77. Then follow 77 to KY 715.

Traveling I-64 East take Exit 113 turn right off exit ramp. Follow signs to US 460 to Frenchburg; continuing through downtown Frenchburg making right at caution light and staying on US 460 until veering off to the right onto Rt. 77. Approximately 9 miles turn left onto Rt. 715 and campground will be immediately on the right.

Traveling I-64 West take Exit 121/Rt. 36 follow to Frenchburg. Continue through caution light turning right - still on US 460. Follow US 460 to Rt. 77. Approximately 9 miles turn left onto Rt. 715 and campground is immediately on the left.

Traveling Bert T. Combs Mountain Parkway, take Rt. 402 through Nada Tunnel. Continue to Rt. 715, at 3-way stop, continue straight (past Rt. 77) campsite is located on the right.
